Moose hunters, head to Norway!

My brother sent me this link this morning. Who woulda thunk it?

***Belated Moose Sighting***

I thought when we left our apt. we left our moosies behind, but thankfully as we were leaving for church on Sunday we saw one walk right past the condo assn. entrance. No picture, but relief that we still will see a moose now and again.

***Moose Sightings***

I’ve seen moose so often in the past two weeks I haven’t really reported it. Mostly I see them when it’s dark (that’s kind of redundant seeing as it’s winter in Alaska) so I haven’t been able to get pics, but I saw one again this evening, twice last week, and once the week before.

Right now there are two moose in our yard–one with antlers. I tried to get pictures, but it’s 1:30 a.m. and therefore too dark. Pretty cool sight, though.

Forgot to post this picture taken when my family was here last week. For the first time a moose actually showed up for our visitors!

Today we came home from church (the Lutheran one) and saw this guy sitting out in our yard waiting for us. He didn’t even budge when we drove in the driveway.

Cranky Moose gets Off(ed)

It’s only fair that I give equal blogtime to other moose around town, not just in my backyard. This will definitely keep me from feeding my moose, though.

**Moose Sighting!**

Two moose were spotted outside our Anchorage apartment this morning. One very large moose decided to pay my hubby a visit as he was warming up the truck, walking past him to the street.
The other moose stood just in front of the tree line staring at my husband until he bacame so intimidated by my hubby’s mean lookin’ face that he ran off to find his buddy.
